A workshop and discussion for Oklahoma Indian nations hosted by the Citizen Potawatomi Nation
Today Indian nations are rejoining the global community as sovereign nations in order to protect our sovereignty, our resources, our cultures, and our people. Indian nations in Oklahoma are leaders in this development.
This high-level workshop will offer insights and information on what Indian nations need to know about these opportunities.
What is happening now in the United Nations that will affect Indian nations? How can your Nation become involved?
What is the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and how can we use it?
